Hi, I'm Maya, and I am THRILLED that you are here!

Taking portraits absolutely lights me up! There is no better feeling than hearing that shutter click, and knowing that something magical is happening. I get so excited at sessions that I can barely wait to edit the photos I create for you.

Photographing Couples and families means that I have the opportunity to capture love in its truest form and it seriously gives me butterflies. I strive to make all my clients feel comfortable in front of the camera and almost forget I’m there. I truly feel honored with every opportunity, so thank you in advance for considering me to be a part of your special moments.

Where it all started

I was always that kid that had her Kodak disposable camera in hand, ready to snap pictures of whatever my little heart desired. Something in me has always been obsessed with the idea of capturing moments and having them to cherish forever. My love for photography really flourished in my high school. I had an amazing photography teacher who never doubted any of her students abilities; whenever things get tough I think back to my time in her classes and things fall right into place. I decided to jump back in and buy a camera “just for fun” and a year later I started booking portrait sessions and the rest is history…corny, I know! But I couldn’t resist :]

When I'm not behind a camera, you can find me
